About SITAR's Executive Director

Natun Bhattacharya grew up in India in an orthodox Hindu Brahmin home.  While in college, he heard the gospel for the first time from an Intian Christian.  After understanding the uniqueness of Christ's love and salvation he committed his life to the Lord.

Natun served with Operation Mobilization and other ministries in various parts of India before coming to the United States.  He completed a M.Div degree from Northwest Bible Seminary and an M.A. at the University of Nothern Colorado.  He has served the South Asian community, international students and has ministered as a cross-cultural trainer for missionaries prior to founding SITAR.
